Java Academy

Successful candidates will undergo three months of training with close supervision from Senior Java Engineers. Participants will perform practical tasks covering the latest Java technology and framework landscape.

Theoretical Java/C++ knowledge
Theoretical knowledge of Scrum methodology
Practical experience in any software development project
Familiarity with SQL

User Experience (UX) Design Academy
During two months of extensive training sessions successful candidates will be working in close cooperation with our design team, learning and evolving into a top-notch User Interface designer.

Requirements to enter UX Academy

Passion for perfection
Basic knowledge of usability
Experience creating pixel-perfect mockups using Adobe CS tools
Diligence, flexibility, open-mindedness, ability and desire to learn
Attention to detail
Eagerness to learn and become a self-organized UI designer
Team player with excellent communication skills
Good spoken and written English

Testing & Quality Assurance Academy
Undergoing two months of mentorship and on-the-job practical training, successful candidates will be reporting directly to their mentors or the Head of Testing department, and working side-by-side with Cogniance engineers covering such topics as:

Software testing concepts (both theory and practice)
Development and review of test documentation (test plans, test cases, defect reports, verification checklists, metrics documents)
Analyses and documentation of test results
Bug tracking systems
Change management concepts
Software product/program management concepts

Requirements to enter Testing & QA internship program

Critical thinking, math, and problem solving skills
Intermediate level of spoken and written English
Desire to develop in the field of Software Testing and Quality Assurance
Ability to interact with the team
IT background is a plus
